Halloween

For Paige's first Halloween she was a butterfly! We spent most of the day going to visit people who wanted to see us in our costumes. She was such a good girl. We didn't see Grandma and Grandpa Hollebeek because Grandpa is back in the hospital but we took lots of pictures for him. All in all it was a good day and we are excited to actually go trick or treating next year.

8 Months

So Paige is now 8 months old, hard to believe, at least for Mike and me. She started to sprout a tooth last week Monday and looks like she is working on 3 more! She said her first word too. DADA. Mike is loving it. She is for sure a Daddy's girl. She gets so excited when he comes home from work. She is going to be a butterfly for Halloween and we will post some pics next week to show everyone. She has started to get up on her knees, she will be mobile before long. We are loving every minute of her!

Earings!!!

Last week Monday I took Paige to get her ears pierced at the mall. I had been wanting to do it for a while but wasn't really sure where to take her. Someone told me that Claire's would do it so we went. They were going to do one at a time but I told them that they would only get one done if they didn't do both at once. She was all smiles all the way until they pierced them. She only cried for about a minute and then she went back in her stroller and we kept shopping. She has not touched them since and looks so cute!!!

7 Months

Wow, we cannot believe that Paige is 7 months already. She still doesn't have a tooth but she sure does know how to drool! She is sitting all on her own all the time now and loves to be outside. We are all looking forward to cooler weather and playing in the leaves. But are trying to enjoy the last days of summer as well. Paige sits with Dad on Saturday and watches to game, for about 5 minutes at a time. We'll keep you updated as she starts to do new things everyday. For now here is a picture of one of our favorite activities, BATH TIME!

Paige is 6 Months Old

Paige had her 6 month check up today. Just thought I would give you some stats.

Birth she was...7lbs and 15 oz. And she was 19 inches long.

At 6 months she is...18lbs and 6 oz. And she is 26 inches long.

She is a growing girl and we love watching all the new things she does!

Chow Time

Paige has been eating rice cereal since she was 4 months old and has gotten very good at it. We have recently started vegetables and fruits at all our meals and she is still getting the hang of it. Mike and I are having a hard time not laughing when she basically blows the food out of her mouth at us. I think we are going to be goof off parents, and one of us at least is going to have to learn to put on a serious front once in a while. But not for a long time hopefully. She is such a blessing. Mike was wonderful this week too and took time off work to take care of Paige and I both when I had a minor surgery to repair some birth damage. So worth it though!!!

Summer is Flying By

Well I cannot believe it is almost half way through August. We have all been having a great summer and been pretty busy. This week I am having a minor procedure done to fix some complications from having Paige so Thursday Paige is going to play at Emily and Mark's. Aubrey and her get along great and are constantly laughing at eachother so it will be fun. And this weekend Mike and I are going to a Tigers game so Paige will be at Grandma and Grandpa Wiggers for a night. We have plans to go camping in a couple weeks and then over Labor Day weekend as well. We should have some fun pictures from that. Paige is also recovering from a double ear infection. Not fun but she has been a trooper!!!
