Thanksgiving 2008

And we have come upon another first in the life of Paige and the life of Mike and I as parents. Thanksgiving....

We went to the Hollebeek side of the family and had a nice Thanksgiving noon meal with immediate relatives. Paige was such a good girl and took almost a 2 hour nap while we were there, which is an hour and fifteen minutes longer than her usual nap. We then stopped home for a bit and went on to The Palma house for an extended Meyer Thanksgiving with Mike's cousins and their kids, along with Aunts and Uncles. Sam and Ben were in love with Paige and she with them and she was a gem and stayed up 2 hours past her bed time and was totally happy.

We are so thankful for so many things this year. At the top of our list is our families. My Dad is on the road to recovery and we are all Blessed by that! And every night before I go to bed, Mike will confirm this, I go into Paige's room and put my hand on her back to feel her breathing and am touched and warmed by the fact that God has blessed us with this little miracle each and every day!!!
