Needs and Wants

So lately Mike and I both have been really trying to distinguish between our needs and wants. Such as......

-Need food, want Wendy's

-Need clothes, want the newest and cutest ones

-Need a roof over our heads, want a bigger house

Anyway the last one has been a big one and we are really trying to make the most of the space we have at our current house.

Once the baby comes Paige will be sharing a room with him/her. This should be interesting for all of us. Mike and I are going to be patient and move when we can afford it and not lose money on the house. So at the end of this little rant, here at the Wigger house we are trying our best to be happy with what we have. And thankful we all have eachother!

We are having another baby! I just found out this week, and we are really excited. I cannot keep something like this a secret so we told everyone right away. My approximate due date is December 29, a holiday baby and here is a perk, another tax deduction. :) I will post pics as we start on this road!

Wow, it has been a long time

So I am pretty bad at keeping up with this blog, I hope people still check it. We are all doing well. Paige is now walking which Mike loves and I have a bitter sweet feeling about...She is now a toddler not a baby. It is amazing at how much babies learn in a year. I am so proud to be Paige's Mom and I love going out and having people tell me how cute and happy she is. Everyday is new with new challenges and rewards! I am so glad spring is coming and we can be outside more. Paige got a swing from Grandma and Grandpa Wigger for Christmas and she loves it. Here are a couple pictures of her in her swing. I think our girl will want to love outside this summer, fine with me, I can work on my tan while we play!!

Wow, it has been a long time

Baby Food or Finger Foods

So I love motherhood but lately I have been frustrated and I needed to vent. Paige is such a smart cookie and she is developing so well. We are trying to teach her to eat finger foods. We give her what we are eating in smaller pieces and she does do well with crackers and cheese but that is the end of that. She doesn't want anything else. I guess I am thinking it is just because she only has 4 teeth and I need to take a chill pill!!! Any suggestions anyone? We have done spaghetti, spaghettios, tortilla with melted cheese. bananas, grilled cheese. Many things!! Whew, beyond that I am so very thankful for a healthy and very happy baby, almost a 1 year old. We are going to get her pictures taken tomorrow, this will be interesting since she is now very mobile. The old she gets the more of a baby bug I get. We are still having a blast and pray for many more fun times together. Well there is my very long and confusing rant. :)

Almost Walking

Paige has been trying to walk! She is able to take about 4 steps on her own but we have realized that she is fearless. The girl will literally try to face dive off the couch without it even crossing her mind that she will smack her head. Needless to say we are watching her like a hawk and she is getting sneaky. We have her 12 month check up on her actual birthday, so Happy Birthday Paige, here are some more shots. LOL. Other than that not too much is new around here. We counted that we will be attending at least 5 weddings between June and October this year. We are looking forward to both of Mike's sisters getting married and Paige is a flower girl in both of their weddings. :) More to come soon, I promise.

I know it has been so long......

So I just wanted to let everyone know that Paige has been super smart lately and here are the things she has figured out.....

-How to cruise around furniture and walk behind her walking toy

-How to say Dad, Mom, Thanks, Paige, yes, no, cup, blocks, I think that is all for now.

-She is going through a semi anti-men stage which I am sure will pass.

-She has 4 teeth and is starting to give up a bottle but still won't eat a ton of finger foods but she'll get there.

We had a good Holiday season with family and friends and cannot wait to see what 2009 holds for our family. Here are some pics, hope you enjoy!
